In years gone by, Nidal Malik Hasan would have been tried by a military tribunal, likely found guilty of treason, murder and a laundry list of other charges, and summarily executed by a firing squad. All within a few months from start to finish. Now this pus bag will be hanging around for who knows how long, preaching hate from his prison cell, much like the latest version of Charles Manson.
