More Government Waste – Census Advertising.
Tuesday, March 9th, 2010It started with the Super Bowl and the government continues to spend a ton of money promoting the 2010 Census. In today’s World, the U.S. Government doesn’t have the waste the money to produce and run TV & radio ads that the news stations and Internet sites could promote for free.
The President could just add a “Census Promotion” to one of his televised speeches and save all the money wasted promoting the Census. I heard a help wanted radio ad for the census telling people to apply for a job at the census. It seems to me that all the people collecting unemployment could get that message in their next unemployment check telling them the Government has a job for them at the Census.
The final straw for me was when I received the one page letter in the mail that informs me that I will receive a 2010 Census in the Mail in about a week. Did they really need to waste all the envelopes, ink and paper to deliver a letter to tell me that they will be sending another letter in the mail? By the way, the letter was in six different languages, does that mean (more…)
Obama’s Self-evaluation is Delusional
Wednesday, December 16th, 2009By David Limbaugh
It’s bad enough for America that President Barack Obama is a committed far-left ideologue, but when you couple that with his narcissism, you’ve got a recipe for a major disaster.
He told Oprah Winfrey he deserves “a good solid B-plus” for his first year in office. The only things standing in his way for that coveted A are — for the most part — other people, such as evil Republicans who oppose socialized medicine.
It’s obvious that Obama is as self-absorbed as he is delusional. While most Americans are worried about the financial destruction of our country and our resulting inability to bequeath our heirs a land of liberty, Obama is fretting over the stresses the job is placing on him.

Obama’s Killing Time
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009Four more US Soldiers died in Afghanistan yesterday as we continued to wait anxiously for Obama to make up his mind about how to respond to General McChrystal’s report. During the pre-surge days in Iraq, 4 dead soldiers was enough for every major news outlet to scream from the rooftops about the costs of war. Now? Hardly a whisper.
Why is it so hard, Mr. President, to DO something about Afghanistan-even if you have to adjust your strategy again later-given that doing NOTHING has only gained you more fallen heroes? Since taking office, YOUR casualty count is nearly DOUBLE that of George Bush’s worst year as Commander in Chief. Why? Since receiving McChrystal’s assessment back in late August, your casualty count is rapidly approaching half of the entire year’s total. Again, Mr. President, WHY?

China questions costs of U.S. healthcare reform
Wednesday, November 18th, 2009James Pethokoukis – REUTERS
Guess what? It turns out the Chinese are kind of curious about how President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform plans would impact America’s huge fiscal deficit. Government officials are using his Asian trip as an opportunity to ask the White House questions. Detailed questions.
Boilerplate assurances that America won’t default on its debt or inflate the shortfall away are apparently not cutting it. Nor should they, when one owns nearly $2 trillion in assets denominated in the currency of a country about to double its national debt over the next decade.
